Maybe they have to sell up because they have purchased elsewhere or are relocating. This indicates that the sellers are prepared to strike a deal. The low number of potential buyers can mean that this situation can benefit you, the buyer.

Winter is usually a relaxing time for us. We tend to spend the winter at home or take advantage of our borders opening up to visit warm destinations. Both actually drive potential buyers away from the market.
