From Institutional Finance to Independent Property Advisory

 Get RARE Properties was founded by Rasti Vaibhav in 2019, following 15+ years in institutional fund management and quantitative portfolio construction.

After managing institutional portfolios exceeding $2 billion at Westpac and AMP Capital, Rasti recognised that private property investors faced a fundamental problem: an industry optimised for transactions, not outcomes.
Most property advice was:
  • Driven by developer incentives
  • Focused on individual purchases, not portfolio logic
  • Lacking risk management discipline
  • Pushing speed over sequencing

The solution wasn't more transactions. It was better decisions.

GPS Framework: Grow. Protect. Secure.

Every resilient property portfolio must balance three forces:

GROWAssets must have capacity to create equity over time. Growth is what enables portfolios to compound and build long-term wealth. However, growth alone is insufficient, and can be dangerous when pursued without consideration for protection and security.
